A very special thank you to our Campus Testing Coordinators, Kristi Myrann and LaDorsha Williams, for their leadership, organization, and dedication during each assessment. From coordinating logistics and training staff to managing materials, schedules, and compliance, their work is detailed, demanding, and essential to the success of our campuses.
While testing days are what most people see, it’s the preparation, problem-solving, and long hours behind the scenes that truly make it all possible.
Thank you both for your precision, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to our students and staff. West Sabine ISD is stronger because of you.

Tiger Nation,
Easter Weekend and the End of the Six Weeks is upon us. There are a few reminders for the close of the week: Thursday will close out the 5th 6 Weeks, so there will be a 12:00 dismissal. Friday-Monday, we will observe Good Friday and Easter Monday with no school. Please be safe and enjoy time away from the district.

UPDATED: Several of our students and teams have advanced to Nationals in Little Dribblers, so we have adjusted some of our makeup testing dates to best support them. Please see the updated testing graphic below.
Parents & Guardians:
Our students will be participating in STAAR/EOC testing throughout April, and we want to ensure everyone is prepared for success!
🗓️ Please review the testing dates and help your child be ready each day by:
✔️ Getting a good night’s sleep
✔️ Eating a healthy breakfast
✔️ Arriving to school on time
🚫 Important Reminder:
Students are not allowed to have cell phones or wearable electronic devices (smartwatches, earbuds, glasses etc.) during testing.
Your support makes a big difference in helping our students do their best—we appreciate your partnership!
🐾 Let’s work together to help our Tigers shine! 🧡🖤

We have great news! Our district recently went through their financial audit. We are proud to say that our district received an "Unqualified Opinion." An unqualified opinion confirms the auditor has no material reservations about the financial statements. This is the highest rating that a district can receive.
While there are many rumors that float regarding district finances, the best way to bust the myth is the financial audit. Our district is very healthy financially.
Congratulations to the Finance Team! Please see a few highlights below:
