On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, West Sabine ISD began renovating what has been known as the Sabine Area Career Center. This project is being constructed by Construction Managers of Southeast Texas (CMOST) and was designed by McKinley-Golden Architects.
In the Fall of 2021, the Sabine Area Career Center closed its doors for service. Sabine Area Career Center Closes Doors (Daily News & More) After a stint of time, West Sabine acquired the building.
The West Sabine Leadership & Community Development Center will host many of the functions that the community utilized in the prior leadership of the building to include:
WSISD Administrative Offices
Computer Lab
Flex Offices for Community Partners such as Texas Workforce Center, Burke Center, AmeriCorps, Georgia-Pacific, TLL Temple Foundation,
Family Engagement Center
Telehealth Site for Sabine Rural Partnership with Lamar University
Community Events Rental
School District Testing Site
Johnny Ross' Taekwondo
And More.

We are excited to embark on this new venture in our town. Further, West Sabine is excited to be even more active in our community. There are many great things happening in Sabine County and we are simply grateful for the opportunity to serve.
