West Sabine Independent School District,
“A District that CARES”
West Sabine ISD, Tiger Nation!, has made the commitment to our constituents to see that every child excels in the areas of Academics, Athletics, and the Arts, propelling them into the “real world” as college or career ready and capable individuals. We strive to commit, give, and hold ourselves to the highest standards in raising the bar for all that come through our doors.
Our district primarily serves the Pineland, Bronson, Rosevine, Plainview, and Centerview communities through our Elementary (PK-5) and High School (6-12) campuses. We are classified as a 2A district with an enrollment of 563 students. Our district has partnerships with local colleges that offer our students dual credits and pathways to career and college readiness. Also, we have long standing competitive traditions in extracurricular and cocurricular activities including Football, Basketball, Softball, Baseball, and Track and Field. Further, there are many other non sport activities such as Student Council, Cheer, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, Band, Twirling, Academic UIL and a host of other clubs and organizations to meet the needs of our students. Through these organizations, our kids learn leadership skills and lessons that have advanced some into district, regional, and even national leadership positions.
We are a family friendly district that hosts many parent involvement days, family nights, town hall meetings, community/parent based committees, and opportunities for parents and community members to be a part of the Tiger family. Also, there are many opportunities throughout the community for our students to be involved and enriched in activities such as taekwondo, baseball, softball, tball, football, karate, archery, 4H, and many other activities.
For the 2020-21 school year, West Sabine has dedicated our time, effort, and resources toward our 4 C’s of Success including, Culture, Communication, Consistency, and Credibility as a means of enriching and empowering our district to the next level of success and accountability with all of our stakeholders.
